Diana Johnson born in 1935 in the midlands. After taking an Oxford degree in English Literature she lived and worked in that are, before moving and traveling around the North, Sheffield and then up to the Orkney Islands.
She is based now in Woodstock and in
this show has returned to Woodcuts and Monoprints. In her landscapes she tried
to capture the feel of the place. Her studies of animals and birds are (where
the observation is two way) sometimes go into the realm of fairytale and
myth.
